- I brought out the camcorder yesterday when DD was wearing both the cardigan and the hat, and took some shots. Unfortunately, they all suck, picture quality-wise (the camcorder's still shot capability when picturing humans is very disappointing in non-natural light). However, here's the best of them.

- With all the Christmas knitting done, and the 2007 Schedule not yet in play, I found myself with a lot of freedom as to what to knit over the holidays. So I started back in on this. By the time we got to my MIL's at lunchtime on Christmas Eve, the entire cardigan was done except for weaving in the ends left over from sewing on the buttons. By the time DD woke up from her nap, that was done, too, and I'd started on the hat. Thanks to the miracle of continental knitting, that was also completed by the time I went to bed. DD woke up on Christmas morning to a totally finished hat-and-cardi set. She LOVES it. (It matches her new Dora backpack that she got from daycare - she could not possibly be more stylish, I tell ya.) I don't yet have a picture of her in the get-up, but they'll come.

- In my snatches of downtime this weekend, I picked this up. The first sleeve is now approaching completion:

(If you look closely, you can see a laddering line. Sigh. What can I say - the yarn is thick and it's cotton. Given a bit of wear, the lines will probably even out on their own. I refuse to get a hangup about it. REFUSE.)

- This project had stalled for the pure and simple reason that I'd lost the pattern. (Yes. Loser.) However, during the process of cleaning the house this weekend, DH found it! (And revealed that it was he who had hidden it away in the first place, thus proving that I'm not such a loser after all, haha.) So, Saturday night after my cold finally got bad enough to stop my relentless cleaning, I ensconced myself on the living room couch with this cardigan and our videotape of Robin Williams Live on Broadway. By the time I went to bed, I had both fronts done and both shoulders bound off together.
Next up: sleeves.

- Got a bit more time to work on this last night and today, and the back is finished. I'm now working on the left front:

It's still pink.

- This was the fun project that I worked on just for the helluvit this weekend because I could. It's going incredibly fast and already it looks like this:

I do believe this is the pinkest freakin' thing I have ever knitted in my life.
